To help you come up with a creative job title, we asked business leaders and people managers this question for their best insights. From Crayon Evangelist to Content Alchemist, we heard several ideas for unique job titles that may help you get more creative and improve on your first impressions.

1. Crayon Evangelist
I’m a Graphic Designer working with businesses to help them build their brand through logos and design. I heard the term Crayon Evangelist from a friend in the industry and it took me back to my childhood, always with a crayon in my hand. It conjures up such wonderful memories I have used this title a few times.

2. Chief of All-Knowing
Everyone in the company calls me by the epithet: Chief of All-Knowing. I didn’t coin this myself. It just came to my attention when my secretary told me that our employees gave me that label because of my vast knowledge about all aspects of the business we run. Getting accustomed to them calling me that way was not easy, and I have been trying to live up to the title. As a result, being named the Chief of All-Knowing makes me more motivated and inspired to work. It has endowed me the courage to further my leadership skills and formulate more efficient strategies to achieve our corporate goals. Somehow, it positively impacted my overall outlook on handling the business.

3. People Pleaser
As the Director at Freedom Mobiles, I often feel as if the buck stops with me. Consequently, for humor purposes, I refer to myself as the People Pleaser when I am dealing with my team. Thankfully they all see the funny side of this and, in all honestly, I find humor can break down difficult working relationships and present an unwelcome decision into one that is more readily accepted.

4. Chief Imagination Officer
One of the most creative executive job titles I’ve ever seen is a Chief Imagination Officer. The role pertained to creative direction and being able to transform the company’s creative direction. A close runner-up is the Director of Creativity & Innovation.

5. Chief Information Architect
I worked with a visual designer who called themself a Chief Information Architect. I thought it was a very appealing way to describe their creative position. Because architects are generally considered to be intelligent, innovative and creative, this title has great potential to appeal to customers. It carries a strong undertone of business expertise that says, “This designer will get the job done right.”

6. Content Ninja Master
Because I’m a CEO for a digital marketing agency, I gave myself a creative executive job title, the Content Ninja Master. Content development involves different angles, forms, and tricks. As a content team executive, I ensure that all content aspects align with our clients’ goals at the fastest speed, not leaving anything by chance behind.

My employees have dubbed me, the company’s CEO, as their Mastermind. Since our company is a digital marketing agency that deals with numerous clients with various demands, they refer to me as the Mastermind behind all the creative planning and execution for our projects. As business leaders, we are indeed the masterminds of our companies and, without a mastermind, no work will be done. I think that is a creative and less intimidating title for a CEO.

8. Decision Champion
Decision Champion is a referral to myself being the CEO. It started as a joke when the business was just starting and, as the founder, every action had to go through me. Colleagues called in, saying to give the decision-making to the “champ,” and the nickname stuck thereon.

I consider my executive role as a pilot. Being a co-founder and the CEO of a social analytics platform for marketers and advertisers, I deploy a flight team that can confidently use artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies to take our passengers where their social media destination should be. 10. Chief People Officer
One creative executive job title I’ve heard from another business is the Chief People Officer (CPO). This person is in charge of managing processes relating to talent retention and team satisfaction. The CPO role is concerned with developing a well-defined company culture and reinforcing company values throughout each and every initiative and communication.

11. Content Alchemist
A friend of mine was a content writer, or rather Content Alchemist as she called herself. She really did whip up some amazing concoctions that people loved to consume, so I felt the title wasn’t off the mark. The title wasn’t so goofy or obscure that people weren’t sure what she did. Most people assumed she was a content writer, which she was. I thought it was clever and made her stand out. Her writing certainly did, so it didn’t come off as indulgent either.
